on the very common wong-baker faces pain rating scale

My legs feel like I just finished dance marathon. From my knees to my feet, there’s a chronic pain that hadn’t subsided for about an hour. It could be because I walked twice as much as usual today; to and from campus once, then from my apartment to the rehab building (where I thought my doctor’s appointment was) to 200 Medical Plaza (where my doctor’s appointment actually was) then to the Flyaway stop on Kinross. That’s only an hour altogether max, so I really don’t think that’s it.

Or it could be that I’ve been sitting for the majority of the last five hours, on a bus, at my (delayed flight’s gate), on the plane. But I doubt this too because my days usually consist of bumming on my ass all day and I usually handle it just fine.

As my doctor said to me today, “I definitely think you have rheumatoid arthritis.”

By the way, I would categorize my current situation as an 8. I teared up on the plane.
